First, Dylan was great as our pilot and guide. He was as chill as the ride itself. The entire staff were friendly and attentive.
The marine layer was thick and creeping in, so we seemed to not float far (in distance, not height) from where we launched. We always seemed to be in very close proximity to the other balloon on the ground waiting to lift off. It may have been due to the weather or possibly to perspective - seven miles at 2000 feet in the air may not feel as far away as it is on the ground.
But our our expectation had been set for something a little more than what we experienced due to the language on the website that specifically stated for this excursion:
"float over rolling hills, lush vineyards, and inspect the angular lines of red tile roofs. You might even skim through the top branches of a citrus tree – all in the course of an hour..."
Better to book when in the area and NOT drive from two hours away to get there for the morning check-in.
Again, though, it was a pleasant morning with very nice people.

Food was too dried and old tasting. I invited family from California and got embarrassed that they could not enjoy the food. Even the desert tasted old.

Cole (our guide and instructor) was wonderful - we felt comfortable and well informed! Relaxing trail ride around the neighborhood. Wine tasting was down the street and the food and people there were also amazing! Great experience, and felt good supporting family owned businesses!

Our tour guide, Carolyn was very knowledgeable and fun! The restaurant stops had excellent food and we learned a lot of new information about the history of Annapolis. I highly recommend this tour!
