Incredible way to see New York City from a different perspective. Well worth the cost for the 1 hour tour. No experience riding jet skis is necessary. The guides are great and I felt comfortable and safe the entire time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that hasn’t been to NY before or wants to try something different!

It was an amazing experience! I bought this experience for my boyfriend and myself for his birthday. The date I wanted had to be rescheduled due to weather conditions, but the second date I had chosen was perfect. The weather was amazing and clear. Thomas is a pro and definitely will make you feel safe. His team is very friendly and will hand you water bottles and even snacks as you wait your turn. If you have someone who to film your take off, best spot is up close, right underneath the wing (they'll have to crouch down low of course). The video that you pay extra for came out great!

I booked this 1 hour flight lesson for my boyfriend as a gift and it was even better than I could have hoped for. Cloud 9 was very responsive with my questions before reserving, and Michael and the Icarus Flying Academy was above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. Michael (the owner) met us personally along with the flight instructor and was very patient teaching us (both) the basics of the aircraft. Once my boyfriend left on his flight (he was in the air for 30-40 minutes) Michael stayed with me to even help me take videos of his flight from the ground. If interested in flying, this is worth every penny.
