Derrick (instructor) was great. Super lame pricing - they ask if you want to 'go high' for $10 for about 30 seconds. I can't believe it is not included for $55 in 2 min. Total marketing that left a bad taste in my mouth...I wouldn't recommend it.

Hi Christina, thanks for taking the time to share your experience with us! I did do a little research on the pricing for you and it looks like their basic most popular package, as you mentioned, is the 2-minute flight for $55 and this can be enjoyed by any experience level including beginners or first-time flyers. For safety purposes, of course, for beginners or first-time flyers, you are restricted from attempting tricks and flips as well as flying up higher into the air stream as all of these require personalized coaching/training and you MUST be an advanced or experienced flyer to perform these stunts safely. It is to my understanding that beginners or first-time flyers are never given access to fly up higher into the air stream so it is really awesome that our flight school offers 30 seconds at the end of the flyer's first experience to have their flight instructor hold on to them and fly them both up into the air stream to show them a little of what it feels like to be an advanced flyer! I apologize if you did not feel the pricing was fair but the "Fly High" for $10 is an extra thrill offered as an upgrade to the basic package instead of being included because not every beginner or first-time flyer wants to or is even comfortable with going as high as the advanced flyers go. This was one of the most amazing experiences ever. The staff was friendly,, knowledgeable and helpful.Our instructor,Joe made our time at Skyventure was something we would never forget. We can't say enough about how incredible this was.
