The guides at Kayak Chicago were great - helpful, clear, kind, and kept us safe in some potentially dangerous situations. The reason I am not giving 5 stars is not the fault of the tour guides (who again, were wonderful). It is because this particular tour needs to be more clear about what it is before people sign up for it - it is a 3+ hour kayak on a very busy river, with lots of boats and heavy currents at nighttime. This is absolutely not a tour for first-time kayakers, despite how knowledgeable the guides are. My husband and I are fairly experienced kayakers and this was tough for us. It also rained during most of the tour (again, NOT the fault of the company or the guides), but I would recommend that Kayak Chicago reconsider doing these tours in the rain, not for safety reasons but for overall enjoyment of the experience.

This was one of the best TOUR I have ever been on - not just pizza or food tour. It was fully worth the money because I have never left feeling more full or happy from a tour. Our tour guide was amazing and the food isn’t a sample, you get full slices of pizza with some places having up to like 6 different options (& yes you can have all of them + seconds). Come hungry to this - it was awesome.
