You’ll board a spacious boat and cruise along the aptly named Crystal River, sparkling in the Florida sunshine and surrounded by lush wilderness. Keep your eyes peeled for local birds or deer while your captain provides fascinating information as well as a brief safety instruction. Once you've arrived at the dive spot, it’s time to get into the water!
You can choose to snorkel or to watch from the comfort of the boat. If you choose to snorkel, you'll be equipped with top-tier equipment before slipping into the warm, crystalline waters. This is the only place where you can swim with manatees in the wild. If you're lucky, these friendly “sea cows” may approach you to say hello.
