This light show, put on by living organisms in the water, is rare and best observed on calm, moonless evenings.
Your launch site will be selected a day or two prior to your adventure by your professional guide to maximize the biolumnescence and avoid wind and crowds. In either a kayak, a tandem kayak, or a canoe, you and your group will paddle through the glowing waters of the Indian River Lagoon for approximately 2 hours. As you go, each dip of your paddle will light up the surrounding waters in a magical show. If you are really lucky, you may even spot a manatee lighting up the lagoon as it makes its way through the waters! You'll be in awe of your surroundings.
