Once you put on a wetsuit and receive the right size surfboard, your lesson can begin. Both the board and wetsuit are supplied by the experience provider for the duration of your lesson. The 2-hour lesson begins with a 15 to 20-minute pre-surf session on the beach. For the rest of the time, you and your surf buddy will be out on the water under the watchful eye of an experienced, dedicated instructor. Your lesson will be tailored to meet your individual needs and surfing skill levels. This personalized one-on-one attention makes it easier to learn what you need, at the pace that is best for both of you. You will be taught the basics in terms of form and surfing technique. There’s also input on how to read the ocean, surf etiquette, and where your place will be in the lineup as a newcomer. Equally important is that you both have a lot of fun. As your skill levels increase during your lessons your confidence will also grow. Discover the thrill and exhilaration of catching waves and sharing the waves with other surfers.
