Once you’ve taken the controls of an airplane, you’ll never look at the world in quite the same way again. Imagine the thrill of taxiing down the runway, picking up speed, then feeling the wheels leave the ground beneath you. Then, you’re soaring into the clouds and looking down on the world from high above.
This learn to fly experience is a great way to figure out if becoming a pilot is right for you. Your FAA Certified Flight Instructor will start things off with a pre-flight inspection where you’ll learn all the things you need to do to make sure your plane is airworthy.
After the pre-flight inspection, it's time to hop into the plane and take to the skies. Your instructor will be right beside you, guiding you through the motions, helping you really get a feel for what being a pilot is like. Then you’ll come in for a landing and wrap up an exhilarating adventure with a post-flight check.
This introductory flight lesson takes you through all the different phases of flight and lets you experience the unparalleled thrills and freedom of flying an airplane!

A single engine aircraft will be used for this experience, most of the time the Piper Warrior.
Returns
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Experience Gifts.
Once you have scheduled a date and received a confirmation email, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed at least 72 hours in advance. Once you are within 72 hours of the booked date, all bookings are subject to a $25.00 administrative fee. In the event that the experience is canceled by the experience provider due to inclement weather or maintenance issues to the aircraft, you may reschedule your experience within 30 days of the original booked date. Failure to appear on the booked date, or reschedule within these terms will result in the loss of the value of the experience.
