When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You'll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions and your experience with us begins!

Weather Dependent
This tour runs rain or shine. It rains often in Seattle, so tours operate regardless of the weather. Fortunately, a good deal of the tour is covered. Please contact your tour provider with any questions about weather conditions.
What To Wear
You will be walking, so be sure to wear comfortable shoes and weather appropriate clothing.

What can I expect on the tour?

You can expect to have a great time with friendly people and knowledgeable local chef guides. This tour is a registered and approved tour of Pike Place Market, and all chefs pass a Market administered exam to ensure all history, building and vendor facts are current and accurate. The goal is to have an amazing time while learning and tasting what the food scene at Pike Place Market has to offer.

What about dietary restrictions?

This food tour can accommodate vegetarians, and there may be some tastings with gluten and dairy free options. But the tour cannot guarantee substitutions for all dietary restrictions. However, there is still plenty to do and see on the tour. If you have a specific dietary need, please notify Virgin Experience Gifts at the time of booking to see if accommodations can be made.

Are children allowed on the tour?

You may bring your children if you think they will enjoy this type of activity. Children 3 and under who will not be eating, do not need to buy a ticket. But any person on the tour who will be eating does need to purchase a ticket.

Are there restrooms available on the tour?

Yes, there are public restrooms available in the market.

Returns
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Experience Gifts.

Cancellation Policy

Once you have received a booking confirmation, all bookings are final. No cancellations or rescheduling requests will be allowed. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
