When Do I Choose A Date?
Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You'll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions and your experience with us begins!

Year-Round:
Saturday and Sunday - 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM

Essential Information
  • Participants should be at least 8 years old
  • Package includes a tea and snacks for up to 10 individuals
  • Vintage tea cups, tablecloths, and napkins will be provided
  • Tables, chairs, and decorations are not included 
  • Experience takes place from the comfort of your own home
  • A working kitchen with working electric outlets and water is required
  • Experience provider will travel more than 30 miles outside of Charles Town, West Virginia incurs additional mileage rates
Duration
This experience lasts approximately 2.5 hours with 90 minutes of tasting and 60 minutes of preparation and clean up.

What can I expect during this experience?

You can expect to have a great time with a friendly and knowledgeable certified tea specialist. The goal is to have an amazing time while drinking and learning about tea.

Where does this experience take place?

This experience takes place from the comfort of your own home! Your tea expert will arrive 30 minutes early to prepare for your tasting and will clean up afterwards. All tea, cups, and equipment will be provided. 

How many people can attend?

This experience includes tea and snacks for up to 10 individuals. Additional participants may be added at an additional cost. 

What should I wear?

Dress to impress! For the ladies, we recommend dresses, skirts, dress pants, blazers, etc. Men should wear dress pants and a collared shirt or cardigan sweater. Avoid jeans, sportswear, t-shirts, and shorts. Fancy hats are strongly encouraged! 

What is included with this experience?

This experience includes tea, snacks, and some equipment such as teacups, tablecloths, and napkins. Tables, chairs, and decorations are not included. 

Can food allergies and dietary restrictions be accommodated?

Our experience providers will do their best to accommodate any allergies or restrictions that you may have. Please contact Virgin Experience Gifts prior to booking to ensure your needs can be met. 

Returns
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 30 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Experience Gifts.

Cancellation Policy

Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 72 hours prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
