When Do I Choose A Date?
If giving as a gift, your recipient can choose a date at their convenience; otherwise, you can choose one after checkout.

Spectators
Spectators are encouraged to watch the take-off and landing. The airport has a climate controlled lounge area equipped with restrooms and vending machines.

This experience is weather dependent. Always contact the experience provider with any questions regarding weather conditions.
What To Wear
Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for the weather conditions. Closed-toe shoes and sunglasses are recommended.
What do I need to bring with me?

Please bring a valid form of ID with you to the airport.

Will I be cold in the open cockpit?

It is recommended to bring a light jacket with you but it does depend on the season and weather for the day. During the summer months, a jacket is not always needed. Gloves are recommended during colder months.

Can I bring a camera on board?

Participants may bring a camera on board, however it is recommended to use a secure wrist strap.

Are there any height, weight or age restrictions?

The passenger must weigh no more than 300 pounds. There are no height or age restrictions.

Do I need experience to fly?

No experience is needed!

What is the plane like?

You will be in an open cockpit Stearman Biplane that has been beautifully restored. It was owned and operated by the U.S. Army Air Corps from 1942-1945.

Returns
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 30 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Experience Gifts.

Cancellation Policy

Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given. Rescheduling is allowed up to 72 hours prior to your experience. A $100 fee will apply if you cancel your flight and reschedule more than once, or if you reschedule more than 12 months past the original booking date . Failure to appear on your booked date or to reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event your experience is canceled due to inclement weather you will reschedule your experience directly with your pilot.

I was concerned that they would not honor the flight since my wife bought it as a gift for me several years ago and I never used it. They honored it (after a small charge to pay for pay increase over the years) and boy am I happy I did this. It was a fantastic experience and I would recommend this to anyone. The flight was fun, the pilot was fabulous and you will be surprised how smooth and calm the flight actually is. If you are on the fence, all I could say is that this is a memorable life experience that you should add to and knock off your bucket list.

Dave was an awesome pilot. Very knowledgeable about the aircraft. Made me feel at complete ease throughout the entire tome(before, during and after)! My only regret is I didn’t let him take me through a barrel roll(I chickened out)! But now I have an excuse to book my next flight with him! Thanks for quite the memorable experience Dave and team!
