The incredible vantage point of the local radio tower gives you a one-of-a-kind perspective of the beauty and grandeur of not only Zion but the entire surrounding area. From certain spots, you’ll be able to see the majestic layers of the Grand Staircase (the exposed layers of rock that extend over vast regions of southern Utah). Don’t be surprised if you see wildlife like deer, rabbits, wild turkey, hawks, and golden eagles. The critically endangered California Condor can also be spotted in and around the park. And if your tour is in the evening, you may even hear an occasional coyote singing in the distance.
