What To Wear
The boat is an open-air vessel, so dress according to the weather.
Where should we park?
Parking is available for a charge of $6 (subject to change) at the Hyatt Regency. Unfortunately, there is very little free parking in the area. You can typically park at the Chamber building, American Statesman building or Auditorium Shores, but all may charge at any given time.
Will there be a captain on board?

There is no captain on board, however the "gondola-like" electric boats are very easy to navigate. The experience provider will walk through how to drive your boat and make sure you are comfortable before you venture out on the water.

Is the boat set on a pre-determined path?

No, the navigation is completely up to you! You will be driving the boat, and will be able to determine where you would like to go. 

Are drinks included?

Tea and water are included. You may bring your own soda or alcoholic beverages on board. If you bring a bottle of wine, glasses can be provided upon request.

Can I decorate the boat?

Yes, you are welcome to do decorating of almost any type but please no confetti, bird seed, rice, silly string, etc. These items are VERY harmful to the lake environment. Also please do not tape items to the boat. It is best to decorate tables and tie balloons and streamers to them.

Is there music provided on the boat?

There is a CD/Radio on the boat, available for your use.  

Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 30 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. Cancellation Policy

Once you have received a booking confirmation, there is a 72-hour cancellation policy for this experience. Failure to appear on your booked date, cancel, or reschedule at least 72 hours prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.

We were very excited to cruise all around on Town Lake, its an amazing view and such a break from reality so we were looking forward to our romantic dinner cruise. The staff was friendly upon arrival, the paperwork was easy to fill out. Our dinner delivery was behind schedule, so our departure was slightly delayed, but once we got underway the boat had difficulty steering which limited our navigability and experience. We enjoyed the view, but unfortunately the boat itself was less than we desirable. If you are looking to float this is great, if you are looking to fully take advantage of exploring, it'd suggest a different experience.

Online we were told the experience is between a 4 hour window but didn't receive confirmation of the specific time until I called. Also, the online package says that chips and queso come with the deal while in person they said they only offer chips and queso for parties of 10 or more (very strange). Even when showing them the online package details, they still refused. The check in process was ok, not as smooth as I would have liked. They seemed disorganized and didn't actually prepare the boat nor some of the food in advance. We waited around for 20 minutes to get a cooler with ice and water with tea, as well as our fajita dinner. They completely forgot to bring a cooler with drinks. How can someone forget in 100 degree weather?? The boat experience itself was alright. Lady bird lake is a no wake zone so don't expect a jet ski or anything fast. The fajitas were not all that great either. Would I book this experience again? Probably not, especially because of how poorly they planned this. It was my SOs birthday and they just made us feel like we were an inconvenience. Its also a lot more expensive than if you were to book direct. The overall experience was suboptimal and below expectations.
