    • Participants must be at least 12 years of age
    • All trips on the Ocoee include shuttle to and from the river and Ocoee outpost, paddle and self-bailing rafts, USCG-approved Type V Personal Flotation Device, paddling jackets and pants if wanted, and wetsuits in cooler weather. Helmets are required on the Ocoee and are provided.
    • There will be a guide in every raft
    • Wetsuit Booties are not available

    What To Wear
    For this experience sunscreen, sunglasses, a brimmed hat, water shoes or water sandals, and quick drying shorts and shirt not cotton are recommended. Because you may get wet, you'll also want to bring a change of clothes and don't forget the sunscreen!

    For this experience, our partners are taking extra measures to prevent any potential spread of COVID-19. These measures include requiring face coverings while inside buildings, traveling in vehicles, and in other select areas where social distancing can be difficult. Our partner’s shuttles will be modified to promote social distancing through reduced capacity and the strategic loading of seats to promote distance between parties. For our partner’s zipline experiences, face masks with area loops are required. Our partners ask that you do not arrive for their experience if you or a member of your party is ill, exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, or have been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 14 days. Additionally, guests will be subject to a pre-trip screening that includes a contactless temperature check. All employees will have a pre-shirt health screening which includes a temperature check. Employees are required to wear face coverings at all times. Our partners will have additional cleaning, sanitization, and disinfection protocols for high touch surfaces such as vehicles, shared equipment, and checkout areas. These Covid-19 safety measures are subject to change.

    All necessary gear and equipment will be provided for your rafting trip.

    What is the intensity of this trip?

    The Middle Ocoee is considered an intermediate rafting experience. Participants must be at least 12 years of age.

    Returns
    Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 30 days.  All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.

    Exchanges
    Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Experience Gifts.

    Cancellation Policy

    Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 14 days prior to the Experience. Failure to appear on your booked date, cancel, or reschedule at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your Experience.
