What is the dress code on Bateaux New York?

We recommend casually stylish attire such as nice pants or jeans, polos, button-down shirts, and sundresses or skirts. Although allowed, we strongly discourage t-shirts, casual jeans, shorts, and sneakers.

Where does the ship go?

The ship cruises the Hudson and East Rivers past the skyscrapers of Manhattan including the Empire State Building. You will see the Intrepid Sea-Air Space Museum, the Brooklyn Bridge, the site of the World Trade Center, Battery Park City, South Street Seaport, the Verrazano Narrows Bridge, Governor's Island, Ellis Island and the Colgate Clock. Of course, the highlight of the cruise is the Statue of Liberty, one of the most celebrated landmarks in the world.

The all glass ceiling and wall, 300-passenger Bateaux New York is Manhattan's most luxurious dinner cruise ship. Spaciously designed with climate-controlled interior decks, two outdoor strolling decks and a spacious hardwood dance floor.

What kind of dance music do you play?

Dancing across the Hudson River aboard Bateaux New York is a rare delight enhanced by the sophisticated sounds of live soft jazz, Broadway hits, blues, Motown and more, provided by our own professional jazz trio and remarkable New York song stylist.

Is the ship wheelchair accessible?

Yes, the cruise is wheelchair accessible and provides a handicap restroom. Please notify us prior to the cruise so we can provide appropriate assistance upon arrival.

Are gratuities included in the price package?

Gratuities are not included in the package price and are suggested for all on-board purchases and outstanding service.

Is there parking close to the ship?

Yes, there is ample paid parking available at Chelsea Piers just steps away from our ship. It is a covered lot with security. Prices vary depending on the amount of time you are parked.

How is seating arranged on board?

The Bateaux is very flexible when it comes to seating. Tables for two, four, six, eight and even more can be arranged to suit almost every party and occasion. Unique banquette seating allows groupings of 20 to 100 with ease while still providing intimate seating for couples and foursomes.

Do you sail in inclement weather?

The Bateaux is fully enclosed and climate-controlled for your comfort. It sails rain or shine year-round.

Returns

Once you have received a booking confirmation, all bookings are final. No cancellations or rescheduling requests will be allowed. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
