When Do I Choose A Date?
If giving as a gift, your recipient can choose a date at their convenience; otherwise, you can choose one after checkout.

Essential Information
  • You will be required to sign a liability waiver prior to your flight
  • Passengers weighing over 200 lbs are subject to a weight surcharge 
  • Participants must be over 21 yrs old with a valid photo ID to partake in the champagne toast
  • Due to COVID-19, this experience will be limited to only the booked members from your own household

3-hour experience, with approximately 1 hour of flight time

Complete information for your Experience Provider, including contact information, will be included on your booking confirmation email once you or your gift recipient have scheduled the experience. Maximum Participants
Maximum of 2-6 passengers per balloon, with a maximum total weight of 1,200 lbs per balloon.
Spectators
This experience is only for those in the balloon!
Weather Dependent
This experience is weather dependent. In the event of inclement weather, your experience provider will reschedule your flight with you for a mutually convenient date. Always contact the experience provider with any questions regarding weather conditions.
What To Wear
Wear comfortable clothing appropriate for weather conditions. Long sleeve shirt, pants, sunglasses and a brimmed hat are recommended. No open toed shoes or heels permitted.

For this experience, our partners are taking added measures to ensure that they help prevent the potential spread of COVID-19. At this time, flights are up to 8 people per basket. Our partners kindly ask that all guest bring and wear a mask during the van ride to the launch site, and during check in. Once inside the basket, guests may remove their masks if they prefer to. These Covid-19 safety measures are subject to change.

Where do we meet for the flight?
You'll meet your pilot at the North Salem Village Professional Center and from there proceed to the selected launch site.
How long is the entire experience?
The entire experience from meeting your pilots, inflating the balloons to returning to your vehicle lasts approximately 3 hours. Flight times are typically 1 hour.
What should I wear?

We recommend wearing layers, and dressing for the weather. Please wear flat shoes, such as tennis shoes.

Returns
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 30 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Experience Gifts.

Cancellation Policy

Once you have scheduled a date and received a booking confirmation, no refunds will be given. Rescheduling is allowed up to 14 days prior to your experience, failure to appear on your booked date or to reschedule at least 14 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event your experience is cancelled due to inclement weather you will reschedule your experience directly with your experience provider.
