Meet up with your experienced guides and kayak instructors for an introduction to the area as well as a brief lesson in paddling techniques to help you get the most out of the experience. What To Wear
What can I expect on the tour?
You can expect to have a great time with knowledgeable guides and kayak instructors as you explore the Potomac River at sunset.
Do I need any experience?
No kayaking experience necessary! Your guide will teach you everything you need to know.
What should I wear?
Dress according to the weather, you will get wet. Dressing in layers is always best, with swimsuits, shorts, or pants made of synthetic quick drying material, and shoes that can get wet. Shoes with good traction are required. Bringing a dry change of clothes and towel is recommended.
What else should I bring?
You may also want to bring a personal water bottle and a camera.
