Very good, and informative. One suggestion, we found out the the company doing the tours had additional restaurant -dining options that we would have preferred over this one. While we greatly enjoyed it, as residents of greater Chicagoland we would have picked one with all hidden gems over this one , which has some but also had Portillos and Lou Malnatis , great for out of towners but we go to both regularly. We did not see those options on the website

The River North Food Tour was excellent in many ways! There was a good variety of restaurants on the tour, and the food was great! We walked from restaurant to restaurant, and along the way, our tour guide talked about the buildings we passed by, Chicago sports figures, and some history about the city.

Fun time! Interesting topic that was covered in depth. My only complaint was that the tour got a little disorganized at the more crowded bars, but it was still fine.

We did this as a family activity with our adult children. The whole group enjoyed the pizza and seeing the city on the clean and comfortable bus. The tour guide was great, trying to make everyone feel comfortable and ensuring people had what they needed.

My husband and I (who live in Chicago) had a wonderful time on the Chicago Pizza Tour and went to 3 places we'd never been before. We learned a good amount, and it wasn't an information overload. The whole process was very easy and casual. We really enjoyed the tour guide Danny who went out of his way to make everyone feel welcome, he seemed to have a very strong knowledge base too and was very funny.

Overall good experience except I upgraded to the campaign brunch and the cruise said that they don't offer that package. Thankfully after pestering the manager we got campaign, but the manger was pretty obviously annoyed and rude. Other than that, food was good and views were great.

It was a good time, but a little confusing since it was called a "champagne brunch" and no one was served champagne upon boarding or received any champagne complimentary (until we asked at the end and the server was kind enough to bring us some). The cocktail, wine and beer, as one would guess were pretty outrageous ($18 for a standard bloody mary), but the food was decent and overall we had a nice time sitting on the observation deck for most of the cruise.

We understand that the crew may have been filling glasses or assisting other guests, and weren't able to provide the champagne upon boarding. Of course, $18.00 is a steep price, even for New York City! There are however, other drink options including wine and beer, for around $6-10. We do understand that expectations were not met, and are truly so sorry.

The food and the service was excellent. The ship was in beautiful condition, clean and very cheery. The reason we are giving it four stars is because we found ourselves in very uncomfortable small chairs; my husband and I are quite tall. The crowd was a young one, we are seniors and when we got on the boat we were quite happy with the music, Mellow and easy on the ears. However, as the room began to fill the noise level increased and the music was, to our ears anyway, difficult to listen to.
However, the situation was saved when we discovered the second level, an empty banquet room with a comfortable sofa from which to enjoy the view. The staff was lovely and even though we were told that level was closed, the steward made an exception and allowed us to sit there, and a stewardess came up to ask if we would like water or anything to drink. From then on we had quite a nice experience.
We very much appreciate the fact that Cloud Nine accepted an October cancellation because of a death in the family and rebooked us for May. An excellent company, thank you.

We had a blast on this tour! Johnathan was very informative and fun as our tour guide. He not only told us all about pizza, but, about the city as well. We visited three pizzerias and had two different types of pizza at each. All were excellent. I definitely recommend this tour whether you are visiting the city or are native to Chicago.

Our tour with Bobby's Bike Hike was amazing! It wasn't the most optimal weather, but still a great time -- Courtney was enthusiastic, informative, & fun. When booking another tour, I will try to do ones that she leads. The places we stopped were great as well -- my favorite being the chocolate shop at the end! I bought a scotcharoo that was TO DIE FOR. SO GOOD.

The Prohibition tour is fantastic! Learning about the history of the bars, the bootleggers, and the gansters is so fascinating! Sidney the tour guide is amazing with her wealth of knowledge! She was so funny and made the trip amazing! The bars they chose to visit are unique, cool, and did a great job accommodating our large group. Highly recommend this tour, you will not be disappointed! I enjoyed the four visits and the historical knowledge provided by the guide was excellent.
However, I must share my personal opinion about her use of "adult language." I have been an adult since long before Sydney was even a glimmer in her parents' eyes. I don't find it necessary to use vulgar language (the correct term for the language she used throughout) to make my point. Use of this style language has become all to common in today's society and is just further evidence of our loss of civility between human beings.

The cruise was good but your instructions related to dress for men is way off base. There was not a sport coat in sight----obviously, the cruise officials do
not police their own policies ----- we saw tee shirts, shorts, etc. Revise your instructions so that you do not inconvenience guests. Business Casual does not include sport coats for men!

Came with my wife as a birthday celebration. We are both interested in Chicago history and fine cocktails, and both aspects were well covered. The Green Door was probably the best stop on the tour, since it has a true speakeasy that still operates. We will definitely bring friends there. My only regret was there was not time to include the Green Mill on the tour too (too far north). The tour guide was very personable and well versed, and the other tour-ists were friendly. A fun time all around.

Received our pizza tour experience as a Christmas gift. My wife and I had a great time. Danny, our tour guide, was great. If you love pizza, this is the tour for you. We thought that we would be going to some of the "famous named" pizza places. This tour takes you to the lesser known neighborhood spots. We went to 4 different places, and had 4 different styles of pizza. An added bonus is that the tour also gives you great views of Chicago and the different neighborhoods. This tour is a must see and do!!

We loved our tour and our guide. He was very knowledgeable, funny, easy-going, and a lot of fun to hang out with for the afternoon. We enjoyed a Gourmet Lunch Cruise on The Odyssey II. The ship was beautiful. Very upscale dining. The wait staff and Captain were all very friendly and personable. Our waitress went out of her way to make our dining experience comfortable and enjoyable. We liked that she would find us anywhere on the ship to make sure we had everything we needed to make this a pleasant experience. The music choices was very nice. If seemed to fit all age groups and ethnicities. The food was done perfectly. Little to no waiting for anything at any time. One of the best customer services I've ever experienced. This was a great experience. The 4 pizza places we visited were all awesome. We learned a lot about the history of pizza, and Joe (our tour guide) was great.

I felt the price for the experience was expensive. The price included the guide and a bus ride to 3 bars within a 3 mile radius. A ride back to where we started and where our car was parked was not provided. The guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the Prohibition, but I felt she did not do anything to get the group to get to know each other. Everyone just minded their own business and sat with the party they came with. I think it would have been more fun if she (Sydney) would have got the group talking to each other. She was young (just turned 21) so maybe she just needed more experience working with a group of people. I was amazed at her speaking ability. She really was a good speaker, but gave us a lot of information which was hard to process after a few drinks. The information was interesting but I got lost at times because of the vast amount. With a few changes, I think it would be a really fun experience.

Great experience. The customer service on this cruise was the best I've ever had (& I've sailed to England on the Queen Mary 2). Every single person was friendly, helpful, and made it a very pleasant experience. The food was good, too. I was especially pleased when I heard a guest ask the carving fellow if they had bbq sauce. There was another worker putting fresh eggs in the other line and he overheard and said, "I'll get that for you, where are you sitting?" He didn't have to be so courteous -- many who work with the public don't act like that. I complimented him then and am doing so now. We'd recommend this to anyone visiting Chicago.

While it was acknowledged that there may be profanity used throughout the tour, I truly did not feel it was necessary nor did enhance the experience in anyway. Also, the 21-year-old guide just didn't pull off the use of the profanity with much finesse, so why bother.

Hands down BEST tour I've ever been on. Gabe was an incredible tour guide. He was knowledgeable, friendly and definitely went the extra mile to make sure everyone was informed, entertained, & enjoying their time on the tour. The equipment provided was in excellent condition. Already planning a subsequent trip with more friends for this fall!

The pizzas were varied and wonderful. Jonathan was a fabulous guide, who shared lots of interesting history about pizza and Chicago along the way. We look forward to doing this tour again with out-of-town visitors.

On our experience, all went well but I didn't like or appreciate the fact that they absolutely didn't ask for ID at anytime during the tour at all. Anyone (even myself) could have gone, especially someone who didn't pay, which I didn't like or appreciate. That really need to change or correct that, as in yesterday. The group was great. The guide was great. We did karaoke on our tour and had a blast! We enjoyed our pizza and cocktail tour. So thank you for a nice experience, it was for my husband whose birthday was the following Monday.

Spent our 15th anniversary celebration with Gabe. He did a fabulous job with Bikes, Bites and Brew tour despite the November wind and chill. Cloud 9 Living went above and beyond notifying the bakery of our anniversary. Swirlz made us special cupcakes for the occasion! Great tour, great guide, great fun!

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing meal and cruise. The only complication was a change in the boarding & departure time by 1 hour. The meal was very good, as was the service. We plan on recommending it to others and would consider doing it again.

I enjoyed the Chicago Pizza Tour. Something to consider going forward, Some guests may only eat cheese pizza. The current structure of the tour does not allow them to ask for cheese as an alternative to what has been ordered. Maybe make an announcement at the beginning of the tour thta should you prefer cheese only it is available.

The experience was, on a whole, positive. We did the Gourmet Lunch Cruise on the Odyssey in Chicago and there was only one negative. Some of the tables on the boat were window tables, and we were told that their online booking site gave you the ability to specially request a window table. I did not have that option booking through Cloud 9 Living, so we had to sit at a table in the middle of the boat with a limited window view. It did not ruin the experience, but it definitely was a disappointment and would suggest you find a way to match your booking options with those offered by the service provider.

It was great; my only suggestion would be to add an extra hour to the trip. With lunch included, there is not much time left to spend on the deck and enjoy the Chicago skyline.

It was so refreshing to take part in something that allowed us to be tourists for the day and to learn about some hidden gems in Chicago! We did it as an anniversary celebration and it was awesome to try something new. I wouldn't be surprised if we do our own "Bikes, Bites and Brews tours" sampling new foods and drinks around this great city, feeling inspired!

This experience was interesting although not really new for me.
I would have preferred the architectural tour since there were no mentions of the buildings at all!

Refreshing look at the city not just for tourists. I booked this tour as an anniversary present for myself and boyfriend (he is from Chicago) and he couldn't stop saying how cool it was and didn't know half of the things the tour guide was telling us about along the way.

My only complaint was that nowhere (on the Cloud 9 experience description or on the confirmation from Chicago Pizza Tours) did it say anything about parking at the restaurant where we met. Therefore, I made the mistake of assuming -- since my husband and I are local to Chicago and are familiar with going downtown -- that Pizano's would have valet parking, which is normally reasonably priced at even the most high-end Chicago restaurants.
We arrived within the appointed meeting time, only to find there was no valet parking. So we went to the nearest self-park garage and were disappointed at having to choose this option as, in our experience, self-park garages can be as much as $23 for 3+ hours. However, we figured it might be less because it was Sunday afternoon.
Following the experience, we were stuffed and on a bit of a high from the good time we'd had and the new people we'd met. When we paid for our parking we were shocked to see that we were charged $32 for a little over four hours. It literally almost ruined the day and left a terrible taste in our mouth as our final impression of the experience. We had splurged on this experience and would NOT have purchased it knowing that we'd shell out another $32 (almost half the cost of the experience itself) for parking. But my biggest issue with it is that I wasn't EXPECTING it and I feel that either Cloud 9 or Chicago Pizza Tours should have given us some idea about the parking and we could have planned accordingly.
Again, I go downtown frequently and when I know to plan ahead, I use ParkWhiz and can get very inexpensive parking near any location. I feel very upset that I didn't do so, but again, I feel like parking instructions should have been made clear to the purchaser of the experience. In closing, I would ONLY recommend Cloud 9/Chicago Pizza Tours with the huge caveat of "buyer beware" as it relates to parking!
