2-Day Salmon River
Rafting Adventure

This experience includes a guided, 2-day rafting trip along the Salmon River. Top-of-the-line rafts, paddles, personal flotation devices, and helmets will be provided. This experience also includes several meals that will be prepared riverside using a Dutch oven. 

This rafting trip is suitable for all skill levels; however, participants should be comfortable swimming while wearing a personal flotation device. All individuals should also have the ability to follow both verbal and non-verbal instructions given by guides and be able to independently or with the reasonable assistance of a companion, board and disembark the raft. 

There are no specific height or weight limitations: however, each participant must fit into one of the life jackets with all buckles fastened. The regular flotation devices (PFD’s) fit a chest circumference of 56 inches maximum.

This is a 2-day rafting trip that includes Class III rapids. Some rapids may be Class IV depending on the season. Participants should be in relatively good physical condition to participate. 

We recommend bringing 2 bathing suits, water shoes or sandals, shorts, tops, and dry clothing to wear in camp. Cotton clothing is not recommended. You should also bring sunscreen, sunglasses, a water bottle, headlamp, a sweatshirt, sleeping bag, and any other personal items that you may need (medications, toiletries, etc.). If you do not have a sleeping bag, you can request one from the experience provider during the booking process. Synthetic paddling gloves may also be helpful in preventing blisters. 

While not every food request can be accommodated, vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and peanut-free meals are available upon request. If you have specific dietary needs, please discuss these with the experience provider during the booking process.
