Your fun-filled day will begin when you meet up with your professional instructor near Kihei. You’ll be equipped with a personal flotation device, paddle, and a top-of-the-line stand up paddleboard. After a brief safety overview, you’ll push away from the beach and out into Makena Bay. This bay’s calm and shallow waters make it an ideal spot for beginners. Breathe in the fresh ocean air as your guide shows you the ins and outs of paddle boarding. Using different techniques, you’ll be up and paddling before you know it! In fact, most participants are up and paddling within just 30 minutes.
Gently cruise along this scenic coastline while your guide shares fascinating facts about the island’s marine environment, geology, and natural history. As you paddle along, you’ll also see breathtaking views of the Haleakala Volcano, Molokini Crater, and so much more.
