SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Virgin Experience Gifts, the U.S. leader in experience gifting, is looking for a full-time Partnership Manager to join our growing Partnerships Team with a view to launch a range of compelling fine dining & restaurant experiences.

The role of the Partnership Manager is to contribute to and execute the Product Strategy by category. This role is a mixture of account management and new business development.

The PM will work to source and manage a competitive and innovative range of experiences to meet BIM objectives and revenue targets within their own assigned categories. The PM will also proactively manage existing partner accounts to ensure optimal performance and to create new and exclusive experiences and source market leading promotional offers.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitor partner product performance for specified areas and identify opportunities for growth as well as underperforming areas
  • Use quantitative approaches and data analysis as well as prevailing trends, market activity and consumer insight to create and maintain a market leading range of experiences
  • Be accountable for categories allocated, with commercial ownership of BIM and ensure we deliver the most attractive, competitive and relevant products for our customers
  • Be the main point of contact for allocated partners and ensure that all queries are addressed in a timely manner
  • Proactively manage partner accounts to develop strong business relationships, maximize sales and optimize performance in terms of BIM, quality, service and innovation
  • Build out annual plans with key partners to include new products and promotions to meet the requirements of our seasonal marketing activity
  • Identify and secure new partnerships to enhance the product portfolio
  • Conduct confident pitch presentations to win new partnerships
  • Negotiate on BIM, delivery and content with current and potential partners
  • Ensure that capacity planning and service and delivery considerations are fully discussed with partners from the outset and considered at every stage of selection and launch
  • Research and source market leading promotional offers to satisfy margin requirements of key clients
  • Work closely with Partner Support Associate to ensure they receive all details required to set up new supplier accounts, products, and promotions correctly and within agreed timelines

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum of 1 year experience working in a similar sales role
  • Established relationships within the Dining/Hospitality space
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Outstanding relationship management
  • High degree of commercial acumen
  • Dynamic and tenacious 
  • Highly organized
  • Exceptional eye for detail
  • Ability to use tools and techniques to profile, benchmark, research and assess the experiences market
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deliver to deadlines
  • Strong grasp of calculating margins and ability to analyze sales data to make decisions on future products
