SUMMARY OF POSITION:

Virgin Experience Gifts, the U.S. leader in experience gifting, is looking for a US-based full-time Account Manager to join our Virgin Incentives Sales Team!

The Account Manager will be responsible for acquiring and retaining corporate & B2B clients that support revenue growth and established objectives. The AM will be expected to plan and carry out sales activities to maintain and develop sales of Virgin Experience Gifts (Incentives) range of experience and voucher products to existing accounts and new business prospects. The role is office based with possible requirements of field work.


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Upselling of all Virgin Experience Gifts (Incentives) product lines to other departments of the existing customer base
  • Respond to and follow up sales enquiries (new business)
  • Proactively convert all new business opportunities, keeping in touch with the appropriate frequency
  • Generate new business through research/prospecting and outreach
  • Monitor and report on sales activity and provide relevant management information
  • Collate copy and images to ensure consistent branding and drive sales
  • Use Microsoft Dynamics for all aspects of the sales process; pipeline / data management / reporting / sales history / etc.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience working in a similar sales role
  • Understanding of the incentive and motivation industry (desirable)
  • Strong knowledge of the B2B experience and/voucher market, including competitors (desirable)
  • Exceptional relationship management skills with a proven ability to build relationships via the phone, email, and other digital channels
  • A team player is who self-motivated and excited to show up to work every day
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once
  • Achievement and results driven
  • Proficient in GSuite applications & high level of competency with Microsoft Office (experience with Dynamics a plus)
  • Ability and confidence to negotiate the best deal for Virgin Incentives whilst delivering an outstanding solution for the client
  • A solid and proven track record in selling and closing complex B2B solutions
  • Attention to detail and quality a must
