When Do I Choose A Date?
If giving as a gift, your recipient can choose a date at their convenience; otherwise, you can choose one after checkout.

Year-Round:
Daily - 10:00 AM, 1:00 PM & 3:00 PM or 4:00 PM 

*Closed Thanksgiving, Christmas, and July 4th

Essential Information
  • Participants must be at least 14 years old
  • Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult of at least 25 years of age to sign their waiver and participate on the tour with them
  • All riders must weigh between 100 and 300lbs
  • Pregnant women will not be permitted to participate
  • Segway, helmet, audio equipment, and orientation session are included

Maximum Participants
There may be up to 20 participants per tour
Spectators
Spectators are allowed to stay for training, however the tour is for participants only.
Weather Dependent
The segways are able to operate efficiently in the rain; therefore this experience will go on in the event of rain. Ponchos are provided. However, tours do not operate in lighting and extreme weather conditions so please be sure to contact your Experience provider if you have any questions regarding weather conditions.
What To Wear
Casual attire, comfortable shoes. Dress for the weather, and don't forget your camera!
Can more than one person ride at a time?
No, Segways are single person vehicles.
Are restrooms available?
Yes, restrooms are available at the meeting location. If you should need to stop during the tour, please let your guide know and they will try to accommodate you.
What happens if it rains?
The activity usually runs in light rain and other moderate weather conditions, but the tour may be cancelled up to an hour before the start time in the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions. If the event is cancelled, ticket-holders will be allowed to reschedule.
Do I have to wear a helmet?
Yes, participants are required to wear a helmet.  One will be provided to you free of charge.
Do I need a driver's license to ride a Segway?
No. The Segway HT's are classified as Personal Assistance Mobility Devices. You are considered a pedestrian when riding.

Returns
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 30 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time.  If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Experience Gifts.

Cancellation Policy

Once you have received a booking confirmation, all bookings are final. No cancellations or rescheduling requests will be allowed. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience.
