About Your Instructor Joby Ross:
PGA Class A professional Joby Ross has over 25 years of experience teaching golf, and has twice been named one of California's Top 50 golf instructors by Golf Digest.
Joby has earned his Jim McLean Master Instructor status and has also been nominated for Teacher of the Year in the Northern California PGA section.
Joby's teaching style follows systematic guidelines and parameters for swing improvement. He believes every golfer is different and tailors his instruction to fit his student's needs and goals. Joby utilizes video swing analysis in all his lessons and has successfully worked with all skill golfers from novices to tour professionals.

When Do I Choose A Date?

Will my lesson be with a famous professional golfer like Phil Mickelson or Sergio Garcia?
No, your lesson will not be with a famous golfer from the professional tour. Rather, your lesson will be with a qualified instructor who has received his Class A certification from the Professional Golfers' Association (PGA).
What is a PGA Class A Professional?
The golf instructor has been certified by the Professional Golf Association (PGA) as Class A professionals. In order to receive a PGA Class A, the instructor must have completed a multi-year series of work, study and training in every aspect of golf, must pass an aptitude test, and must maintain expertise through continuing education programs.
What will the lesson focus on?
This is a customized lesson for golfers of all levels, from beginners to experienced golfers looking to hone their skills. Areas of instruction may include driving, putting, chipping, proper body alignment, grip, posture, ball position, swing mechanics and more.
