This exciting 2.5-hour experience takes place at a wonderful non-profit organization, a rescue and rehabilitation program that cares for horses that have been abandoned, abused, or neglected. Here, the animals are allowed to rediscover their true nature, and you get the opportunity to be a part of it!
Begin by greeting and making a connection with these soulful animals. Learn about their care and maintenance as you get hands on with their feeding, watering, cleaning, and grooming. Then it’s time to take them out of their stalls and play! Enjoy the horses in their natural herd environment as they play with their favorite toys, like balls, buckets, and cones. Or if you’d prefer, you can stand back and quietly observe them having fun.
It doesn’t happen all the time, but occasionally, one of the horses will sense that someone is in need of emotional support. If a horse offers, you may be able to lay down with it in their stall and receive a special meditative session. It’s a one-of-a-kind experience that you won’t find anywhere else.
