Treat yourself to a once-in-a-lifetime getaway and experience the heart of America’s western states on this exciting 5-day excursion.

Day 1 

Your multi-day trip will start when you meet up with your expert, handpicked tour guide. Board an air-conditioned bus or van and begin your journey along the spectacular California coastline to Santa Barbara. Visit a Spanish Mission and a small Danish community before making your way north along the famous Route #1. 

Take in amazing views of the Pacific Ocean as you stop in Carmel, the home of Clint Eastwood. You’ll feel like you’re living in a fairytale as you leisurely stroll past Carmel’s charming cottages. Spend the night in Oakland and get ready for another thrilling day.

Day 2

Start your day right with a tasty continental breakfast. Continue traveling north and discover why San Francisco is considered one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Step onto a boat near Fisherman’s Wharf and enjoy a scenic bay cruise. Get your camera ready as you view the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz Island, and resident sea lions! Head back to land and visit iconic sites including Union Square, Chinatown, Nob Hill, and so much more. End your day with beautiful nighttime views of the city and then turn in for the night in your hotel room.  

Day 3

After a restful night, you’ll wake up to a filling continental breakfast and then back out onto the open road. Summer itineraries will include a stop in Yosemite National Park where you will view incredible natural wonders such as El Capitan, Bridalveil Falls, Yosemite Falls, and Half Dome. If you’re traveling during the winter months, Day 3 will start with a tour around Monterrey and then the world-famous Hearst Castle. 

Day 4

Today’s route will take you through Death Valley and to the bustling streets of Las Vegas. You’ll know when you’ve entered Sin City as towering resorts, flashing lights, and palm trees suddenly fill your vision. Take an evening tour of the strip and soak up spectacular views of some of the city’s top casinos such as Caesar’s Palace, Mirage, Luxor, Paris, and more. Before heading to bed, place some bets at the blackjack tables or treat yourself to one of Vegas’ many world-famous shows. 

Day 5

Your last hurrah will begin with a leisurely continental breakfast at your hotel. After you’ve had your fill, you’ll make your way out of Vegas and to the immense concrete structure of the Hoover Dam. Learn about this dam’s incredible engineering and uncover how its creation impacted the surrounding landscape. Prior to entering California, you’ll have one more chance to win big on a slot machine.
