Your exciting day will begin when you meet up with your professional guide in Oakhurst, CA. From the comfort of your own vehicle, you’ll follow your instructor into Southern Yosemite and the Sierra National Forest. Surrounded by countless granite walls, you’ll be taken to a stunning climbing area that is well-suited to your skill level and interests.
For the beginner climbers, you may spend your day along the ridges of the Willow Creek Walls. This fun and varied area features climbing routes that are perfect for the entire spectrum of climbers. Looking to do something a little more exhilarating? Climb above the trees and experience the thrill of multi-pitch climbing!
No matter where the day takes you, your guide will immediately get to work setting up for your first climb. Before starting your ascent, you’ll learn how to climb successfully and safely. Then, it’s time to hit the walls! Feel the smoothness of the rock beneath your hands as you slowly begin to make your way up the wall. Along the way, your guide will provide you with tips and tricks on how to improve your climbing technique.

Either yourself or the lucky recipient can make a booking and select dates once you are in receipt of the voucher. You’ll register the voucher, follow the booking instructions and your experience with us begins!June through October:

What To Wear
Do I need previous experience?
Nope! This experience is perfect for beginner and experienced rock climbers. Your guide will design your itinerary based on your skill level, goals, and interests.
Can I bring my own personal climbing equipment?
Yes! You are welcome to bring your own climbing gear. Harnesses, shoes, and helmets are also available upon request and at no additional charge.
What should I bring?
We recommend bringing 2-3 liters of water per person, lunch, snacks, sunscreen, sunglasses, and a camera!
What should I wear?
Wear comfortable, moisture wicking clothing and hiking/running shoes. We also recommend bringing a raincoat, sunhat, and sunglasses.
Returns
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be returned hassle-free within 14 days. All refunds will be made to the original purchaser.
Exchanges
Experience Vouchers that have not been redeemed can be exchanged for anything else in our marketplace at any time. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs more, you'll simply have to pay the difference. If you choose to exchange for an experience that costs less, you'll have a credit towards your next booking with Virgin Experience Gifts.
Once you have received a booking confirmation, cancellations and rescheduling are allowed up to 7 days prior to the experience. Failure to appear on your booked date or to cancel and reschedule at least 7 days prior to your booked date will result in the loss of the value of your experience. In the event that your tour is cancelled due to inclement weather, you will be able to reschedule directly with the experience provider.
