Your 1-hour workshop will begin when you step into one of Sedona’s premier glass studios. Your expert instructor will take you behind the scenes and into the studio’s working hot shop. Before getting started on your project, you’ll receive an important debrief in glass safety and etiquette.
Then, it’s time for some fun! Watch as your expert instructor shows you how to safely gather, shape, and color glass. Using various hot tools, you’ll carefully form the molten glass into delicate flower petals and attach a beautiful stem. Personalize your piece using a rainbow of different glass colors and patterns.
After you’ve completed your beautiful glass flower, your piece will be set aside to anneal overnight. This process allows the glass to cool slowly and results in stronger, less-brittle glass. Projects are typically ready for pick up the following day.
